Master's Degrees
Sometimes a bachelor's degree just isn't enough to land the job you want. While many employers are happy with employees having only earned a bachelor's degree, some appreciate a worker with a little more experience, knowledge, and the resume-boosting addition of a master's degree.
Unlike with a bachelor's degree, earning a master's degree will give you the chance to focus on one area in particular – be it history, philosophy, chemistry, business administration, or journalism – and hone your skills and knowledge in this area. For some careers, like in business and the sciences, having a master's degree is a must for getting your foot in the door.
