SDCC Adult Professional Studies (APS) provides online degree completion for those interested in advancing or excelling in current employment positions or altering career paths to meet personal desires and goals. APS degree completion students can complete one of two baccalaureate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries, or a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Students receive training from faculty members who are passionate about their respective disciplines and who are grounded spiritually. Faculty members are not just educators - they are strongly committed to each student supporting the diversity and unique learning styles of adult students. About our online programs:

This fully online, Christian Ministries program will provide students with knowledge and skills in the various areas of ministry opportunities in the Christian community. The two year program is designed to highlight leadership, Bible and theology, as well as other ministry elements such as worship, education, evangelism, counseling, and discipleship. This degree opportunity will prepare the adult learner to impact the community in leadership roles in church ministries and other faith-based community ministries.
Course Requirements for Christian Ministries Degree
The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries will require a minimum of 124 credit hours:
- 48 Required Core credit hours in Christian Ministries
- 54 General Education Credit hours
- 22 Elective credit hours

Technology has placed the entire world within reach, and astute managers are capitalizing on the vast opportunities now available on a global scale. More than ever before, businesses are seeking people who have the knowledge, skills, and vision to excel in this rapidly changing business environment. The fully online, Business Management major focuses on the skills needed for general supervision and management in a fast-paced global economy. The business curriculum prepares a student, both academically and spiritually to make an impact for Christ in business leadership.

The Human Development Program is designed to meet a growing need for professionals in fields of counseling, social services, education, human resources, and child care management. Throughout this 2 year long curriculum, the student will learn the theories, concepts, and foundational elements that will equip him or her to enter and/or excel in any number of related careers. The integration of biblical truths and principles, along with the guidance and instruction of Christian professors, will ensure not only academic development, but spiritual and social growth as well.
